Associate Degree in Business (HRM)

The Course is designed to provide students with the ability to identify and analyze business problems, collect relevant data used for formulating and implementing business plans that respond effectively to current business environments. Associate degree programs in business management or administration will offer coursework or concentration options in Management, Human Resource Management, Marketing or Accounting. Those concentrating on Human Resource Management will learn how to train, hire, manage and develop a business’ personnel. HRM concentration prepares students to become key players in assisting organizations to achieve their goals through employee selection and development. They also learn basic administration and organizational skills as well as how to manage employee benefits and conduct business in a legal and ethical manner. Students can proceed directly to the final year of the Bachelor of Business course upon completion of this course.
