Foundation Course for Diploma Level Studies

 

At the completion of this program students will develop reading and writing skills to extract information from scholarly books and articles and present them in an academically accepted form. Furthermore, students are also expected to develop skills of argument and presentation skills. Skills of numeracy, reasoning and logical analysis is also part of the program where upon completion students will have to fulfill the requirements. Students completing this program will also acquire skills and knowledge of ICT to enable them to engage in information searching, data analysis and communicating ideas. Moreover, scientific inquiry, evidence based decision making are also part of the foundation program. At the completion of the program, students will develop a broad base of general knowledge which will allow them to critically examine societal change and their historical roots through exploratory techniques.
